Every summer, we host a picnic for current and former foster youth.  We've gone to Griffith Park and taken them hiking, on the Merry-Go-Round and making tie-dye shirts.  And we've gone to Kenneth Hahn Park and played games including Pictionary, egg toss and hula hoop. 

On the Saturday before Thanksgiving, we host a Thanksgiving Brunch to bring the community together in the spirit of gratitude.

Every December, Stepping Forward LA hosts a Holiday Party for our entire community. The holidays can be a particularly difficult time for foster youth, so the Holiday Party provides them with presents, holiday sweets, and a community to celebrate with.
