Stepping Forward LA is grateful for our continued partnership with the Jimmy Miller Memorial Foundation and the meaningful Ocean Therapy experiences they provide for our young adults.

For many young adults, Surf Day is more than learning how to ride a wave.

 

It is a chance to visit the beach, connect with the ocean, try something new, and build confidence in themselves. With the support of instructors, volunteers, and Stepping Forward LA staff, each young adult is encouraged every step of the way as they learn, grow, and celebrate what they are capable of.

 

We are especially thankful to Nancy, Riley, and the entire Jimmy Miller Memorial Foundation team for helping make this experience possible. Together, we are creating a yearly tradition filled with healing, connection, joy, and memories that our young adults can carry with them long after they leave the water.
